San Antonio is the seat of Bexar County. Homeowners in Bexar County get $100,000 general homestead exemption from their school district. Bexar County also provides a 20% homestead exemption. The City of San Antonio provides a 20% exemption on your net appraised value. Bexar County healthcare district provides a 20% exemption.
